Penguins surviving.

Penguins are birds that live in the Southern Oceans. Penguins don’t live in the North pole.

There are only polar bears in the North pole. In the southern ocean they live at the bottom of the world.

Penguins can’t fly. When  Penguins come ashore they take waddling steps on their short legs.

In winter the temperature drops fast.And there is a strong gayl.The sun does not rise.

did you  know there is no sun in winter? its just cold and windy.

In antarctica male emperor penguins can survive on freezing pack ice, where blizzards case the temperature to drops well below zero.

Emperor penguins have thick water proof coat on their skin.and feathers that overlap to keep them warm to and fluffy layers.

Will.i.am Donating 100,000 dollars at Pt England school.

On Thursday Will.i.am came to our School.He was talking to Pt England school about how he was living it felt

like hell to him .Like Will.i.am said to us dream hard and your wish will come true.

Will.i.am donated to Pt England  100,000 dollars in a big cheek. Everyone was happy at him. When the assembly was finished He going in to classes he came in room 18.When he was going he stayed for a little while And ask Mrs burt if he wanted to go to a party with will.i.am. But Mrs Burt said no because Mrs Burt had to have diner with his mum.

ANTARCTIC SEAL.

WALT-We are learning to summarise the main points of a paragraph.

Seals are fast in sea but Clumsy on land. They are graceful only in sea. and when they go back to land. They haul back on land to give birth to their pups.

Seals are mammals that live in oceans all over the world. All of the seals at Antarctica are non eared seals. The seals have lots of blubber to keep them warm.

Seals have thick, short hair on their streamlined body, to keep them warm  as well. They have flippers to help them be superb swimmers.Most of the time, seals are in the sea.

All of the seals are superb swimmers all seals must have blubber in them to keep the warm they have strong flippers to help swim fast to.Once my class was watching a brainy seal was protecting itself from the killer whales in Antarctica but it got killed.

Crabeaters don’t eat carbs they eat krill there are 30 million crabeaters in Antarctica, and there are 40 million people in New Zealand.

Leopard seals are fast in water.Penguins are afraid of leopard seals.

Today I learned that  Antartica ocean it gets warmer and warmer the deeper you go.I also found out that under the botem is were star fish are.
